24x7 Water Supply Is Achievable - Vishvaraj Infra

According to Vishvaraj Infra (VIL), a water management firm based in Nagpur 24x7 water supply is achievable. This comes despite low levels of service and waste water mismanagement.

There are persistent naysayers saying “We don’t have enough water in a water-scarce country to supply continuous water”; “It will cost too much when so many people are poor and tariffs are already too low”; “We have intermittent power supply so how can we expect to have continuous water supply?”; and “Our cities are growing too quickly to support continuous water”.

Vishvaraj Infra - Why Privatisation Works

https://www.facebook.com/vishvarajinfra

Those who fear water privatisation are yet to grasp its benefits and financial assistances it provides. The truth is such fears are baseless and unwarranted.

Companies like Vishvaraj Infrastructure Ltd (VIL) who won two major awards in the sector at the recent World Water Leadership Congress & Awards can lead water privatisation in the right track.  The company won the presitigious Water Reuse Project of the Year and Mr Arun Lakhani, VIL’s chairman and managing director won the award for Outstanding Contribution to Water.

Let’s take a step and reevaluate the scenario and head down to Nagpur where the city pumps 540 million litres of water every single day, but only 140 million litres is accounted for. This leaves the state at a loss of 400 million litres.

Why is so much water being wasted when it could be used or better still the question is why is 74% of the water not accounted for?

For those who fear, must understand private entities like VIL India, would play a big part in the installations of tap water connections in all houses. They could create systems for metering them. While, matter of fees and tariffs, would be decided by the concerned municipal body.

24x7 Water is Attainable, VIL

Water can be renewed and reused, and if you go by what VishvarajInfrastructure Limited (VIL), a water management firm based in Nagpur is saying then even 24x7 water supply is achievable. This belief comes at a time when low levels of service and waste water mismanagement is being witnessed in many cities of India.

VIL believe that successful continuous water supply is possible. Projects in Nagpur 24X7 and other places have shown results of water being able to reach peoples home continuously.
VIL feels the problem of water shortage is related to water management inefficiencies than water scarcity. According to the company focus should now be concentrated on improving these efficiencies in water usage.

The Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, National Water Development Agency and Central Water Commission have organized India Water Week 2016 to be organised from April 4 to April 8, 2016 on the theme Water for all: Striving together.
VIL provides global solutions that contribute to sustainable development in the water sector through innovation in the design, construction and operation of drinking water treatment plants, distribution system reforms, etc.
